Signature & Acknowledgements

APEX CANVAS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply to all work on your vessel/vehicle/product provided by Apex Canvas

​

Acceptance of quotation and payment of deposit with signature means the client has agreed to and understands these terms and conditions.

1. Quotation is valid for 14 days from date of issue

 

2. Payment Schedule:

               i.Jobs below $4000: 25% payment required on acceptance of quotation. Balance (75% plus any variation costs) due prior to collection/delivery of                                                      boat, vehicle or product

               ii. Jobs above $4000: 25% payment required on acceptance of quotation. 50% on commencement of job. Balance (25% plus any variation costs) due                                                     prior to collection/delivery of boat, vehicle or product

 

3. Variations: Any variations to the initial quoted works will be charged as extra works either as:

               i. A quoted variation

               ii. A variation charged on a time and material basis

 

4. If you cancel your order your deposit is refundable less costs (any labour and products ordered) incurred by Apex Canvas

 

5. Payment of the booking deposit confirms you agree to these terms and conditions.

 

6. While all care is taken with the selection of materials, many materials such as leather and canvas can be subject to changes and movement dependent on the environment eg. temperature and humidity, particularly in a vehicle/boat. This is a natural occurrence and not a fault of the product or workmanship. With proper care this can be prevented.

 

7. Due to clears being a product that relies solely on the care taken by the owner once installed, these are not covered under warranty due to this reason.

 

8. Any warranty for third party supplier products, hardware, and personal finishes is strictly limited to the supplier warranty and terms provided for that item.

 

9. Apex Canvas is not liable for any loss, damage, warranty and functionality of any products, appliances and materials provided by you.

 

10. Apex Canvas provides a 12-month warranty on workmanship and installation. You are required to return the vehicle/boat/product to us to inspect and address any warranty matter raised.

11. All goods supplied or made by Apex Canvas remains the property of Apex Canvas until paid in full.

 

12. Your normal vehicle/boat insurance covers any loss or damage while the vehicle is with Apex Canvas and you authorise Apex Canvas to drive the vehicle.

 

13. We will endeavour to meet the expected time schedule for completion of the quoted work, but delays may occur due to availability of Materials, parts and weather.

 

14. Apex Canvas does not take any responsibility for any issues that may arise with your vehicle/boat while in our care, including but not limited to:

               - mechanical and electrical issues

               - road worthiness

               - insurances and registration
